In a heartening display of support for skills development in migrant workers, Chris and Gail Davey, proprietors of 3D Farms and valued McAg Host Employers, have recently assisted McAg seasonal worker Junior Paul Bobong in acquiring his LF forklift license during his placement at their farm. This significant achievement was made possible through co-funding from the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Skills Development program and McAg, underscoring the program’s effectiveness in providing skills development pathways for individuals like Junior.

Junior’s journey exemplifies the transformative impact of such initiatives, as he has not only honed his skills but also become an invaluable asset to the farm. His newly acquired expertise in forklift operation is sure to enhance efficiency and productivity at 3D Farms for years to come.

At McAg, we prioritize continuous improvement, and Junior’s attainment of his LF forklift license is a testament to our commitment to investing in our return workers and supporting upskilling opportunities. With this qualification, Junior not only enriches his experience at his placement with 3D Farms, but also gains opportunities to undertake skilled work while back home in Vanuatu.

We extend our sincere gratitude to supportive Host Employers like Chris and Gail Davey, whose dedication to the growth and development of our workers is truly commendable. Their partnership underscores the collaborative spirit that drives positive change within our community and within the workers communities at home.
